  1. There are six reading and learning strategies we use to understand our learning. They are make and break, inductive model, cloze, think aloud, kwl chart and read aloud. Ima talk about how that helps our reading and understanding.
The make and break is like a puzzle we have to solve. There are three types of make and breaks some have words that help some dont have anything and other ones give you the first letter of the word. This helps you understand what you reading about and understand the prompt.
The inductive model is a prompt that we read to understand reading. This helps use organize our thoughts. Its helps people think about there thinking.
A cloze is a paragraph that gives information to understand the essay or reading. This helps you understand what your reading about and the leaning strategies. This also makes you think about words that fit in.
The think aloud is information we use to learn new things. We use reading strategies. It helps you understand what the reading is telling you or saying.
The kwl chart is one teaching and learning strategy we use to explain what we know and write down what we want to know, also what we have learned. The KWl chart helps use organize our thoughts and compare what we know to what we learned.
The read aloud is reading, writing, and speaking prompt. It helps you understand the assignment better and also makes your reading skills get faster.
My conclusion to this is that the strategies is that they help a lot of people to understand there reading and writing. We also use them to understand our thought and organize our thinking.

  2. We use different reading strategies to know what are reading. Some of the strategies are metacognition, reading connections, clozes, read a loud, make and break, and a KWL chart. So you will get a better understanding I will tell you a little about each.
Metacognition is a very important skill that helps you in lots of many ways. What it helps you with is thinking about you thing, so that you don’t make any real big mistakes, and it will be all be easy.
Reading connections is a strategy that you use to help you get a better understanding of the story. When you read something you should always use your reading strategies to like, highlighting, and making a prediction, connecting with the story or find clue words this will all help you get a better understanding.
A cloze is a paragraph that helps you expand your vocab by reading the whole passage first. Then find the easy words in the paragraph. Then find clues to find the hard word and it should be easy and done.
Reading a loud is a skill that helps you with a understanding, all you need is a couple of steps. First you read it all the way thought, then you write about it or talk about it. With all this done this would of helped you with your vocab, and read faster. These are some of the reasons why a read aloud is important.
A make brake is a skill that we use to clearly understand what we are reading. The thing about a make and brake is finding the data, organizing the setting to put it in order. Then write how you felt about the passage.
The KWL chart is a teaching and learning strategy that we use. When we see what you know, what you want to know and what you want to learn. This helps us see what we want to learn. Help us see what we want to know and helps find out about things we never knew about.
In the end all these strategies will help you become a greater reader. I hope you use this strategies next time you read

  3. There are six learning strategies we use to understand our learning, such as The KWL Chart, Inductive Model, Think Aloud, Read Aloud, Make and Break, and Cloze. I will explain these Strategies:

A KWL Chart is a Learning strategy that we use to be more organized, the way this works is you write something you knoe, what you want to know, and something you learned. The way this helps is you get more clues and it keeps your brain moving with new information and what you have learned.

A inductive model is another Learning strategy we use to remember what the paragraph is about. The way we use this is we highlight important things, ask questions, make connections, and categorize it. The reason we use this is because it helps you remember the main things about the paragraph and get you clues.

The Think Aloud is a Learning strategy that we use to read and write or draw something. The way we do this is you read it out loud, and you get little voices. This helps you understand better and meta cognize.

The Read Aloud is a Learning strategy that you use to read out loud, so you can capture information. The was you use it is you read it, Write or speak prompt afterwards. This helps many people because in order for them to capture information they have to read it out loud, and share information with people.

A Make and Break is a Learning Strategy that You use to be organized. The way you do this is you organize the paragraphs in the way you think it goes to try and get clues about it. You also highlight the important information so that when you go threw it you can just read the information that is mainly about. This helps you Get clues and information.

My Conclusion is that all these reading and learning strategies help a lot of people understand what they are doing when they are reading a paragraph, they use these ways to help them remember information that is important. We also use them to understand our thought and organize our thinking.

  4. Reading Strategy’s

Did you know that there are many, many reading strategy’s that help us become better readers, writers, thinkers, and help us become more organized? If you didn’t I feel bad for you, but don’t worry because I am going to name six reading strategy’s that are going to come in very handy.

The first reading strategy that I am going to name is called a make and break. And a make and break is when you read a story or a article that is cut up into pieces and your job is to read piece by piece and put the story or article back in its corresponding order There is a method towards putting the article or story back in the right order. What you first want to do is look for a paragraph that starts with a date, because usually story’s and articles start with the date of the event at the beginning of a letter. Then you probably want to look for a time on the paragraphs and link the time settings. I really think that make and breaks help me because I feel that they get me more organized and help me focus on my thinking.

The second reading strategy that I am going to name is called inductive model. What inductive model means is that you and your partner go through a story or article and after you both are done reading it you come up with different categories and categorize every single paragraph that the article has. A way that you make up categorize is you look at the title of the story or article and based on what it’s about you make up categories. Like for example if the title is earthquakes, then some categories that I can make up are forecasting, damage, magnitude etc… I think that inductive model helps you get a better understanding of the subject, and it helps you learn better reading strategies.

The third reading strategy that I am going to name is called a think aloud and a think aloud is when a group of people get together and read an article or story and then as a group they use different reading strategy’s like visualizing, making connections, asking questions, and summarizing. I think that a think aloud is one of the best reading strategy’s that you can possibly learn because while doing the think aloud you’re not only using one reading strategy your using many reading strategy’s in the process.

The forth reading strategy that I am going to name is called a kwl chart. And what a kwl chart is, it’s a chart that is used before and after you watch a video or start learning about a certain topic. The kwl chart stands for what you know, what you wonder, and what you have learned. And before you learn about something you fill out the what you know section and what you wonder section, and then after your done learning about the topic you write what you have learned. I think that a kwl chart helps a lot because it sets your thoughts straight and in the end you have a better understanding of the topic.

The fifth reading strategy that I am going to name is called a cloze. And what a cloze is, it’s a paragraph or story that you have to finish by filling in the blanks with the correct words. The cloze helps because while you insert words in the paragraph or story you expand your vocabulary more.

The last reading strategy that I am going to name is called a read aloud. A read aloud is when the whole class reads the same article or the same story and after we read the article or story we use reading strategies kind of like in the think aloud.

My conclusion about reading strategies is that they are extremely helpful in many many ways. For example they make you a stronger reader and writer and also they help on things like expanding your vocabulary, learning more reading strategies etc…. Also another thing that I think reading strategies help me on is becoming a more organized person and they also help me think about my thinking.

  5. There are six reading strategies that we use to do reading strategies the six are: make+ break, think aloud, cloze, Inductive reading, read aloud, and KWL chart. I am going to tell what they are, what you do with it, and how it helps you.
The make + break is an assignment where you need to organize the order and see if the order is correct. There are 3 things you need to do in make+ break like: read it, put it in order, and read the whole thing in order. make + break helps you by making you more organized and makes you understand how to use the context clues for help.
The think aloud is a assignment where you tell students what reading strategies you do in each paragraph. For think aloud, you need to do 2 things: read and reading strategies in every paragraph. The think aloud helps you understand how strong are tsunamis, helps you know whats happening in world around you, and helps you understand how reading strategies help you.
A cloze is a assignment where you use context clues to help you in filling in the blanks. For the clozes you need to do 5 things: read the whole entire paragraph, do the ones you know, use context clues for ones you don’t know, and read the whole thing again but with the blanks you do. The cloze helps in when you need help with context clues.
Inductive reading is where you read headlines and underline important ideas. There are 2 ways you can do it like: read each headline and underline main ideas of paragraph. Inductive reading helps you by finding out the world around you, makes you understand how strong are tornados, and makes you know which country has the most natural disasters.

A KWL chart is one teaching+ learning we use. For a KWL chart, you do 4 things like: write what you know about topic, write what you know about topic, write what you want to learn, watch movie about topic, and write what you learned. Those 4 things helped me in understanding how forest fire are made, helped organize my thoughts, and helps me find out what I want to learn.

  6. Reading strategies

A inductive model is a another strategy the we use to remember what a paragraph is about. The way we use an inductive model is we highlight the important things. It also helps us to learn new things and get organized.
A cloze is a learning strategy that we used. A cloze is a way that you could find the missing words with the context clues that they give you. There are three different kinds of closes the first cloze is when they give you the words in the side, the second one when they give you the words but there are extra words, the third is when you have to find the words with the clues that they give you. It helps you to know how to look for context clues.
Make and break is a strategy that we use to be organized. A make and brake is when you look for context clues to put things in chronological order. It helps you to know how to put things back in order.

  7. There are six strategies that help us to understand our learning. They are Cloze, Read Aloud, Inductive Model, Make and Break, Think Aloud, and KWL. This essay is about what each one is.
A cloze is a paragraph or so that leaves in blanks and you have to fill in the blank. For the cloze I read it over first, then I do the easy ones, and then for the ones I don’t know, I look for the clues. It helps you to understand what the cloze is about, and clues help you find the word in the blank.
Read Aloud is when you read the whole thing and answer the question. You read through the whole page first, and then there are questions at the bottom of the paper which you answer them. It helps you understand it more if you read the whole thing, and it helps organize your thoughts.
Inductive Model is like a data set which you use reading strategies. I read the paragraph first, then I highlight important words in each paragraph, after highlighting I use reading strategies for each paragraph. It helps organize your data set and get a better understanding.
For Make and Break, is like you read through the pages and figure out which order to put it. I first read through the page/paragraph, and then highlight important lines/words, and I circle clues. It helps by highlighting lines/words so you’ll know where to place it in which number, and it makes your Make and Break more organize.
Think Aloud is a thinking or reading strategy that you show what your thinking is. I read through the paragraph first, and then I use reading strategies. It helps you organize your thinking, and helps you use your metacognition.

There are many types of reading strategies you can use that have the power to help you achieve your goal in reading assignments. Some that help you find out clues, others that give you a better perspective of the article, and then they’re some that help you sort out your ideas. And they can help you, throughout your whole High school career. Some of these reading strategies are, KWL, Think aloud, Inductive strategy, Make & Break, Read aloud, and Cloze. And they can help you, throughout your whole High school career.

A “KWL” chart is one reading and learning strategy I have learned to use. It is when you right down what you know, what you want to know, and what you have learned. A KWL chart is form of an organization strategy; it helps you sort out your thoughts. And it also helps you on getting a better understanding of the topic you are reading.

A strategy that is very helpful in giving you a better understanding of the article you are reading are, “think aloud”. First we read the articles, then we make a connection by using a strategy like visualize, summary, connect, or ask a question. It helps you with reading skills, and makes you put metachognition into action.

Another type of reading strategy we use that helps us with categorization is, “Inductive Strategy”. We read the different slips, get a better understanding of the topic sentence, and them categorize them in order. It gives us a better understanding of the passage, and gives us brain patterns, which can be very helpful.

The “Make & Break” is a type of strategy that involves putting a story in together. You read the story, find context clues, and then you but the paragraphs together in order to make a story. This helps us by letting us focus more on the article, and get a better understanding with the articles.

The “Read Aloud” strategy we use, works a little different. What you do is, read the article, don’t stop, and don’t think about your thinking. You read the whole article through and at the end there will be a question. That way, it helps you summarize, and think about the reading.

A “Cloze” is a reading and learning strategy used for us to get a better idea about the article. There is 3 different types of Cloze’s , one when you have to guess the word, another where it gives you the first letter of the blank word, and the other where it gives you options of words.
We read, look for clues, and then we fill in the blanks. It helps you focus more on the article, which gives you a better understanding.

To me, the best strategy to use is, “Cloze”. For the fact that it help’s you get a better understanding of the article/story in a simple way. It gives you not just 1 strategy, but 3, which gives you a better idea on how an article works. And help’s on giving you a better focus on finding context clues throughout the story.

  9.       The six learning and reading strategies we use in modern times are read aloud, think aloud, closes, make and break, inductive model and K-W-L chart. These strategies help us in learning easily and get better understanding of specific topic.
I believe these strategies are very useful for students.

Read aloud is a reading strategy where we read it all first and the answer the question at the end. It helps us by making us more specific and by thinking closely about our thinking.

Think aloud is a strategy where we read it all through first then write in learning strategy which comes first go out mind. There are many learning strategies like asking questions, visualizing, make connection and summarizing. It helps us by being more organized and get better understanding of the topic.

Cloze is the best reading and learning strategy in my opinion. Cloze is a essay or passage where there are some blanks we have fill out by putting in the correct word that matches the passage. First we read it all through and fill put the blanks that are easy and we know for sure, the we look for clues and fill out the remaining ones. There are three types of clozes: cloze where we have multiple choice of words,  second cloze where only the first letter of the word in given in the blank, and third where it’s just blank and we have to figure out th whole right word. Clozes help us by putting metacognition in action and require us to think beyond our limitation.

Make and break is another thinking strategy where we have exemplars and we have to put it in order to make an correct passage in right order. First we read all and then look for context clues. After that we explain why we put them in this order. It helps us by making us think closely about our thinking and raises our clue skills.

Inductive model is an strategy we use to organize data sets. Data set is a package where it has information about the topic it or subject. First we read all through and highlight the words we thunk are important, then we categorize the examLars where they belong. It helps us by being more organized and metacognition.

K-W-L chart is another learning strategy for students to grt advanced in understanding. In K-w-l first we write down what we already know about the topic and then we write down what we want to know about the specific subject. After we learn about the subject and then write down what we have learned. It helps us by being well organized.

In brief, There are six learning strategies we use to learn and get better understanding. They are read aloud, think aloud, closes, make and break, inductive model and K-W-L chart. I believe these strategies are very useful for students and play important role in learning.

  10. There are six reading strategies that helps us understand about our learning. They are Cloze, Read Aloud, Inductive Model, Make and Break, Think Aloud, and KWL chart. This essay is about each one of them.

Inductive, we read the whole data set. We highlight 6 words that helps describe or tell what the paragraph is about. We make connections, ask questions, visualize, summarize, and evaluate. It helps me learn about the data sets. It helps my brains too because brains like pattern.

Cloze is an article or story that we have to fill in the blanks. There are different types of clozes; one with words that you have to plug in and one that you have to use context clues. Cloze helps you use context clue better and it helps you understand the article or story more.

The make & break is paragraph that we have to plug in words from contexts clues or the words already given. We have to highlight context clues and read it. It helps make us think more and be more organized.

The think aloud is where you show your thinking. You have to read out loud. You have to use reading strategies to all of the paragraph. It helps me understand better and use reading strategies easier.

A K-W-L chart is one teaching + learning strategy we use. A K-W-L chart is very helpful. We use K to write what we know, W for what we want to learn, and L for what we learned. It helps you summarize better. It helps you understand more about what your learning.

The read aloud is when we read out loud to everyone. We have to read the aloud and it is medium length and writing or speaking prompt afterwards. It helps us read aloud more often and cooperate easier.

All of these reading strategies helped me a lot and will help me ever more in the future. out of the 6 thing we did i liked the Inductive model because it is easier and it helps me more. All of these helped me making reading or creating words much easier.

  11. Good readers don’t just read, they must understand the topic as well. There are many helpful reading strategies that assist you in comprehending the topic better. Each method shows a different way on how to access the topic, but all are useful.

A KWL Chart is a teaching and learning strategy we use. We start by writing what we already know about the topic. Asking questions follows it, and then after you studied some more you write what you learned. This helps you understand the topic better. It also helps you organize ideas and thoughts.

A cloze is a thinking strategy to expand your vocabulary and mental capacity. You start by reading the entire thing. Next you write down the easy ones. Then you use context clues to find the remaining ones. There are different kinds of clozes. Some already have a word bank so those tend to be easier.

Think- alouds help understand more about the concept you are reading about. You begin by reading out loud and clearly while making sure your partners are paying attention. You pass out copies so your partners can follow along. You share your reading strategies to help understand and comprehend the passage better. It helps by showing metacognition and by understanding it better.

The inductive model is another reading strategy. You start by reading it. Then you make connections. Next you ask questions about the topic. Then you visualize by drawing a picture. After that you summarize it. Next you categorize it. Then you go over it and share what you did. This helps by making you fully understand reading strategies and by executing them correctly.

Make-and-breaks are the final reading strategy we used. With this you start by reading it. Then you highlight and use context clues to try and put it in order. This helps by using meta cognition since you need to think ahead.

I think that think-alouds are a more effective reading strategy than everything else. This is because they use a little bit of everything to help understand the topic better. Also because it is group work and I think that is an effective way of learning.

All reading strategies to me are good tools readers should use in order to grasp the concept of a topic. I think that reading strategies are a very effective method of learning

  12. There are many learning & reading strategies we can use. The main six we use in class are: Think alouds, Clozes, K.W.L. Charts, Make & brakes, Inductive models, & Read alouds. Each method helps you read or learn easier.

The first reading strategy is a Think aloud. This method helps understand things better & think about our thinking, which is called metacognition. What we must do for this is read the paragraph. After we read it, we must either visualize, write a summary, ask a question, or make a connection to it.

Another reading strategy we use is a cloze. For a close, we read the entire thing. Then, try & think of a word that would fit into the blank the best. Although if the words are given to you, you just have to pick one of the words. When your not given the words, you can figure it out by using context clues. This strategy helps us because it helps us get used to using context clues.

A K.W.L. Chart is a teaching & learning strategy we use. All we do is write what we know about the topic in the “K” section. Then think of a few questions & write it down in the “W” section. Finally after learning, we write what we learned about the subject in the “L” section. This chart helps us by getting things more organized.

A Make & Brake is another reading method. We use this method to help us become more organized. What we have to do is to read it. Then we decide which one goes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc…

The Inductive Model is a strategy we use. What we have to do is read the data set given to us. Then we must organize it into categories. This helps us because our brain likes patterns, so this helps us learn & remember things a little bit easier.

The last reading strategy we use in class is a Read Aloud. For a Read Aloud, we read the whole thing. After we read it, we must either do a reading or writing prompt. This last method helps us because this helps us understand this easier & better.

All of these methods are very helpful to readers. Although, to me the best would be the Cloze. I like this method most because it helps us understand the article better. All of the strategies have their own way of helping us, but a Cloze doesnt only have one way, it has three. Even though i have given you good reasons why a i think a Cloze is the most helpful, you might think otherwise since everybody learns their own way.
