The worst natural disaster “Tsunami”
Have you ever imagined yourself getting pulled away from your family and home by water well and think to yourself your going die? Well thousands of people have and they died sadly. Yes it is true that people they from this yearly hundreds to thousands of people die from it. It is very sad to hear that people get affected by this yearly knowing that could have been you or friends and family. These three reasons that tsunami are indeed catastrophes. One people die, two people go missing, and three people become homeless.
People die yearly due to this travesty. December 26, 2004 225000 was the estimated death toll in Sumatra. There are many other places as well that have been affected by tsunami’s since the 1700’s. The list just goes on and on. People they drowning getting in a collision with something. Hopefully the next tsunami won’t go so high in the death toll.
Families who have loved ones in tsunami’s get devastated if they don’t know what has happen to their family they get worried if they are reported missing. Hundreds to thousands of people become missing in tsunamis due to the part of them being drag away. For example the people in Indonesia had a tsunami and 135 people went missing thankfully they were all found. This shows how people can go missing in the manner of minutes in tsunami. Hopefully people who are missing in any situation are found safely.
People who are not hurt or missing become homeless as a consolation. January 6, 2010 one thousand people were homeless after a tsunami in Solomon. People are left cold and deserted with no were to go and in many cases with no family members to go to. People who are left homeless sometime think of just thoughts of suicide because they nothing to restart with no money no nothing. These people should be treated the way everyone else is.
As I reflect upon this essay I will that a tsunami can and will kill people make them missing and homeless. My opinion to all of this is that you should help the people who get hurt by this physically and mentally. Even help people in smaller ways donate at least one dollar to people who need it not to people are addicted to drugs and alcohol.
