Week 4 2012 in Room 11

Remember that what you write here will be public. It doesn’t need to be perfect as far as spelling or grammar, but it should be appropriate language and topics for school.

  • Login at by clicking at the top left of this page.
  • Look at the comments from last week, you will see your comment and others that have been “approved”. If your comment says “awaiting moderation” you need to fix it.
  • Look at the approved comments to see what I’m looking for. It should have two complete sentences answering the question that was asked. Click on “Reply” and rewrite your comment so it meets this standard, then click on submit.
  • Go to Blogs to Read at the right column, go to a student blog and find a post to comment on.
  • Leave a comment that has two of the following:
    • Open with a specific compliment, or reason you liked the post.
    • Make a connection with the writer by talking about an experience you have that relates to what they wrote about.
    • Ask a question related to the post.
  • Click on the title of this post, and a comment box should appear below.
  • Answer this question, if you could do anything using computers and technology in the classroom, what would it be? Why do you think that would help you learn? Please respond with 2-3 complete, complex or compound sentences (in other words, sentences that describe in detail, not simple declarative sentences).
  • Go to any of the other links in the column at the right, and do the activities there until we line up for recess.
