Central Highlands from Natmandu’s photostream on Flickr – Photo Sharing!

This is a picture from the Central Highlands of Vietnam, where the story “The Land I Lost” takes place.

This week, we’ll be looking into our own family stories. To get started, write down five questions you will ask an older family member (mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandpa, grandma, or an older sister or brother if they can help you) about your family and their history. Please send them to me as a comment below.

    Dear Ms. Mandy,
I really loved having you as a helper in the class. You were awesome, just to remind you how special you are to me & the class. The entire class is going to miss you, everybody is writing to you saying great things. We are all going to miss you. Before you leave, were going to give you a little something something. It was nice knowing you.
