Imagine your friend telling you to steal something for him and you get caught. How would you react? Would you blame it on your friend or would you take responsibility for your actions? Joanne C. believes that if something bad happens don’t let it destroy your life just stay strong and get through it.
I agree because you should stay strong and get through it. You shouldn’t blame other people for your mistakes. For example the guy that lost his house and his family. An he believed that he could have done something to save his family but, after a while he says that he is going to join the army and move on. He said “That’s what my wife would of wanted”.

Image you got a big interview for your dream job and you were determined to get it. But when you get there and you get there and you don’t have all the qualities to get it. Do you blame the friend who got the interview for you? Or do you face the fact that you weren’t supposed to get it? According to Joanne C., the people who have a difficult situation they have to options, you either learn from it or you can let it destroy/control your life.
I agree with her because you can’t let a bad incident control your life. According to Joanne C. the man who she met told her about his tragedy, and got his family lives taken from him. The pain was too much for him but he chooses not to let it stop living his life.
In addition, Joanne, said “life is unpredictable, and things that seem to happen without a reason sometimes feel impossible to deal with. When someone decides not to let complicated situation control his or her life or define who she or he is by choosing to keep having forward, regardless of what may happen, the outcome is almost always going to be fulfilling.” It’s too long but it’s a good way to look at things from a different perceptive.
Imagine you are New Orleans. What happened if hurricane karita came? What would you do? How would you feel? Who would you blame too? Who are you going to tell? How would you save your live and your family?
“Joanne c said” bad thing happened to god people. First of all people like to blame others Joanne c believed it. “Second of all Joanne c said” people don’t want to solve they own problem every time blame to other to solve it. “Third of all “Joanne c said”, people need to keep moving forward and think about their further.
I agree with Joanne c because she did tell the truth. Furthermore I say “people like to blame others”. They don’t thing about further what will happened next. For example I have seen in school and other place people like to blame other when they didn’t anything. I think that people need to use their brain to see what they are doing. Everybody have brain to use.
In addition when I was little I like to blame others. When I am grown up I take my reasonability. When I was small I like to blame my brothers and sister. I blame my brothers or sister when something I did wrong. When I they do good stuff I blame myself. I like to blame others too. That time is gone but now I take my reasonability.
In fact when I am little bit older little kid like to blame us. That reminds me of when I was little I like to blame someone else. For example my brother blames me and I blame him when we both did some wrong. When we are grown up we take our reasonability. We don’t blame other anymore.
For the reason above “I say people should take their own responsibility:. People need to think more deep for their further. People need to solve their own problem. People need to use their brain to see what is happening or not. People need to move on. Don’t blame others like me when I was small. These was my reason why people should not blame others.

From New York to London, to Paris, to Beijing. From Sarajevo to Dakar to Buenos Aires to Los Angels and everywhere in between the game of Basketball is played. It’s played in the city parks of New York and the dusty plains of Africa, and the expensive designed courts of the NBA. The game is played wherever someone can get a ball, and a mounted ring-like object. Unlike other sports that require multiple people and a lot of equipment, Basketball only requires a Ball and the willingness to play.
The First basketball type game may have been played by the early Olmec people of ancient Mexico as early as 500 years go. The Aztec, and Mayan cultures also had a game similar to basketball, only instead of a rubber ball they used the decapitated skulls of their conquered foes. The First true basketball game as we know it was on January 20th, 1892 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Canadian Doctor James Naismith invented the game for the YMCA to play during the winter months. Naismith wrote simple rules for the game, and nailed up two peach baskets for hoops, most of original Naismith rules are still in place today. Some of the rules have changed a bit, and new rules have been added since then, such as in the original game bouncing the ball was prohibited. Of the 13 rules, nine have been modified and kept in the modern game of basketball, the rest have been disregarded.
The First game consisted of 18 players, or nine to a team which was standard to the baseball teams of the day. Since Naismith or the YMCA didn’t have the money to design a new ball they used a soccer ball. The concept of the game must have been foreign to the players as the game was played for 30 minutes and the final score was 1-0. Halfway though the game however William R. Chase made the ball go into the peach basket, and thus became the first player to ever score in a basketball game. It was during this game that someone suggested a name for this new sport, Basketball.
The Game grew in popularity and within a few years, most of the YMCA centers in the Northern Eastern United States, and Southern Canada had facilities to accommodate players. However within a decade of its invention most YMCA centers began to ban the game because of the rough style of play associated with it. However other amateur groups picked up the slack and new Basketball leagues began forming, including the Amateur Athletic Union and the Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
What do you think this is about? What was the most important part that you liked is this read aloud explain why? What is the most important thing in the passage?
